Frank: PA Votes Today

I'm still a bit jealous you got close enough to snap some of these great shots... but I'll get over it if I get the chance to see Obama at a campaign event, say, in September or October.

My polling place this morning was busier than it was last November (not saying much, but that's the only other voting I've done since I moved last fall) - which I guess is good for a primary. They say the typical primary turnout is around 20%, but they expect closer to 50% today. And I'm thinking turnout is going to mean everything.

Howard, there's some kind of energy around this whole thing. Four years ago we got up close and personal with him. This time it was pretty close. By September I think the crowds will be enormous. Hope you get up close with him...that would be very cool indeed.

I'm glad all Pennsylvanians get to finally enjoy the same excitement and energy that we felt here in Iowa all those many, many months ago...and better yet, you can go to your polling place in shritsleeves rather than twelve layers of winter clothing.

This is what participating in the political process is all about!

Steve, it's an exciting today. I remember the buzz in 2004 when it looked like Kerry had a chance and it was a lot of people out in Philly. This is even more. It's electric. Wow!

Too bad thee were not more voters like you in PA. The result was disappointing.

Rick, it was disappointing. The governor and the mayor of Philly both broke for Clinton. As it stands, the Clinton barely got any more delegates, but she's touting the 10% victory. Hmmm...it was disappointing. It seems to never ned. Ugh.
