Frank: No More “Good Morning, Good Morning”: One Year Later

  • rick · 1 year ago
It is good to keep memories of special people alive.

So much of what we do has no anchor in time. Therefore, I am often amazed when anniversaries of key events come around. We mourn, we remember but we continue on.

Rick, it is good to remember. It's a crazy and fast-paced world we live in. It's good to step back once in a while and think about the things that matter. You are really great at that. I'm working on it.

Thanks Frank for reposting this...it has been a tough day for some. It was good to read this again and to remember that Howard laugh (not that it was one you would ever forget).

"Put another log on the fire...cook me some bacon and some beans..."

Steve, I can't believe a year's gone by. Amazing, really. In some ways it still hasn't sunk in that he's gone. A year...wow.

Dear Frank, I am sorry for your loss. It is good to remember him and I am just sure that is him playing with your lights.

Frank- My sincere condolences. I am sorry for you that you lost him. I am glad for you that you knew him. Your wife's family sounds strong ansupportive. I know you will all be fine.

Sarcasmom, thank you. And you know a lot about loss and keeping a memory alive. I love that...it's sustaining.

Pinky Bear...thanks. I'm all about good memories. And I'm thinking the lights thing is right.

I remember reading this posting last year. Funny thing, is that it has stayed with me, that beautiful tribute you did to your father in law. He truly sounded like the life of the party.

I love that he might be haunting you!
