I think I would like that too...but a lot is happening in Philly right now, so that makes it fun.

Re: Making the Cutout

Very cool! You don't see things like that in Spokane :P

Re: Making the Cutout

Sounds like there should be a New Year's Eve party in Bill's new office.

Re: Making the Cutout

Bill, you're a Cutout Man if there ever was one. Great description of the place...Play-Doh, what a cool description of how that's created. I'll look forward to a tour of your office when you move in.

Re: Making the Cutout

Imagine that the building was made of Play do (dough?) and you took a cube and pressed it into one side. That's what is left. Those floors have conference space and executive offices. It's way cool.

My office will be in the northeast corner of the 34th floor as of about January 1, 2008. I can't wait.

Re: Making the Cutout

The Cutout is just a glassed-in architectural elements. I wish I'd taken a better picture. Basically, that hole up there is all glass, and there are bigtime offices and conference rooms that face the interior of the Cutout plus overlook South Philly. My sense, having not been up there (maybe Albert could fill us in), is that there are floor-to-ceiling windows and super cool offices there....you can be the king of the world up there...or at least the King of Philly (which is pretty dang close).

Re: Making the Cutout

It's a pretty good picture. The cut out is wild.

Re: Making the Cutout

I don't get it. Why are they leaving a "Cutout"? Is that part of the architectural detail?

Re: Making the Cutout

What is it exactly?

Re: Making the Cutout

Jessica, I'll bet you'll make a better pic, too. I took this one with my iPhone, which has been my camera of convenience lately. It's very limited, but great for snaps but it didn't show the glass in the Cutout.

Re: Making the Cutout

Pretty photo! I'll have to walk by to see the cutout with my own eyes.
